Dec. 22nd, 2005 11:43 amMy eyes are still rolling at rest of the Nip/Tuck finale. I suppose my affection for and interest in the characters will get me back to watch next season, but good grief, those were terrible plot contrivances, all of them. Gotta hand to Roma Maffia, though; she batted her character Liz' scene out of the park. She was the best thing in the finale. Go Liz!
ARGHH on working today. It's pouring out and it was so hard to leave the house this morning. I could easily have spent the day slounging with the cats, stoking the fireplace, and reading books. I have 6 hours of personal business time to use by 12/31, so I set up a vet appointment for Ben on Saturday, dropped some calendars at my mothers, picked up a gingerbread latte at Peet's (um, patooie. I'll stick to regular lattes), and came in a little late. Also, what the heck? It's turned into one of those really busy days for our whole department; well, the 50% of us who are here.
Finished The City of Ember last night (book #44). It was okay. There were alot of holes in the Ember AU and I was profoundly irritated at ( Read more... ); so much for caring about their fellow townspeople, much less their families.
Just started Hoot, by Carl Hiasson (#45). I like it so far.
