There is nothing more thriling than the occasional deep dive in tropical water, when you get 100 feet down or more, (125 is max for recreational diving, but it cuts your time) and look up at the beauty and weight of all the water, twinkling blue through the little star of sunlight topside. It's so. freaking. cool. And you're weightless! You can look at it upside down if you want to! But the height of the water above also makes one aware of the pressure, and therefore the nitrogen being squeezed into tissues, so you bob back up and keep an eye on the dive computer.
