How did it get to be 3:30 already? Oy.
Katerinabead came over and had lunch with me today. I dragged her over to one of my favorite restaurants near the Grand Lake Theater, then we walked over to Arizmendi. I love the neighborhood over there. I've always known a good number of people who live over there, but it used to be that it felt like they were just living there, tucked away in the hills. In the last couple of years, the neighborhood has done a good deal of sprucing up and it feel SO much like North Berkeley now. The only thing they are missing is a quality book store like Black Oak Books. But I digress. Katerinabead is off for Colorado soon and I hope she gets to see Amaliedageek, CN and N.
I'm completely obsessed with Season 1 Gilmore Girls. I phoned down the list of EB video stores in the yellow pages last night until I found one that had the two my local video store won't get back on the shelf until tomorrow (way too long to wait), drove over, signed up, and rented them last night. Since I was listening to Temple Grandin on Fresh Air the whole way, it was time well spent.
