Talented nephew

My nephew, a jazz trumpter, is on tour in Canada and North America with John
Mayer (in his band). I found some articles on-line. Go nephew!!

Mayer's set was an even mix of his big-label debut
Room For Squares and Heavier Things. He also switched
between acoustic and electric guitar regularly
throughout the night. Mayer was backed by a tight
six-piece band of saxophone, horn, keyboards, guitar,
bass and drums. The two-piece brass section added a
full and funky sound that helped detract from the
sameness and blandness of many of Mayer's songs.

To the delight of everyone in attendance, Mayer
finally appeared with a guitar in hand. Dressed in a
plain button-up shirt, khaki pants and a black jacket,
Mayer was definitely not overdressed for the occasion.
Neither were his six bandmates, most of whom where
dressed like college students. This was fitting, as
most of the audience was a college-aged crowd, and
Mayer, at 26, is not much older than his fan base:
