I'm heading home to pack as soon as I clear the cache and figure out where the heck cookies are.
1. What's the last place you traveled to, outside your own home state/country?
Hawaii, twice, last year.
2. What's the most bizarre/unusual thing that's ever happened to you while traveling?
I had a long layover at O'Hare and rode back & forth under the music/light/moving sidewalk several times. An old lady fell getting off a moving sidewalk near me and I was the first responder, as they say. I stopped her bleeding head wound with one of the bandanas I carry in my knapsack, and invented a bandage for her bleeding hand from a clean napkin I'd stuck in a book. All my first aid classes came in handy for once.
3. If you could take off to anywhere, money and time being no object, where would you go?
I'd visit islands all over the world, live in Alaska for one full year, go to Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Africa, Asia, South America.
4. Do you prefer traveling by plane, train or car?
Plane. I like airports.
5. What's the next place on your list to visit?
I'm leaving for the Sierra tomorrow. Then, Deer Island, Maine and Pittsburgh, PA in Sept./Oct.
