Time for a big change: short hair!

Lots of major things are changing in my life this summer, I'll soon be retiring early and looking forward to it. For the first time in ever, I cut my hair. It all feels so completely right. I have no regrets on the hair, or any of the other processes I'm putting into motion.

I have had long hair nearly my entire life. The last time my hair was this short, I was four years old. It's shorter than my shoulders but below my ears. Apparently I actually have a hairline at the nape of my neck now. I really like it. It's very weird to wash it though, there's nothing there!

Short hair! Woot! Congratulations! I love having short hair (although I also loved having long hair, too). It's so easy to take care of, and much cooler in hot weather.

Eventually, I'll work up the nerve to have hair as short as yours, but for now it's above my shoulders but below my ears. Very short for me!
