Nov. 24th, 2008 10:26 pmGuess what. MySql is pronounced My Sequel not My Squall. I would think that it would be spelled MyCql to get My Sequel, but no. We're rolling out a new DB to the agency tomorrow. This is the first DB I've ever worked with. The designer was great. It's now taking me at least 5 times as long as it used to to do my work, 10 times as long if I stop to add and fix data. Yay?
I'm habituating 3 not-so-feral kittens at home. It's going well. Looks like I'll be keeping them at the house while I run off to Mexico next week for a week. 2 people have volunteered to take care of the kittens and 1 for Java, so that's set.
P.S. Katerinabead is alive and well, in case anyone ever wonders. I asked for, and got, some excellent info about kittens and cats from her. Signed, yours in group-herding.
