May. 27th, 2008 10:51 amI shopped in my closet for outfits for the wedding shindig, and shopped there again this morning for work clothes, since I woke up really early. There are all sorts of things in there that I'd forgotten I had. It's so nice thing to wear something different, for free. Now if I lose some weight, wow, I really have a lot of clothes I could tap into.
My spry active 73-year old neighbor with scoliosis, who can ride a bike but not walk are or hike, whose son was on the U.S. Olympic bicycle team, has made it her mission to get me out on my bike. She woke me up Sunday AM, I agreed to a ride to Fairfax and back (3 miles each way). But! we ended up doing this: San Rafael to San Anselmo, San Anselmo to Ross, Ross to Phoenix Lake, Up and over Shaver Grade (after a detour down Concrete Pipe Road & back for the pretty) to Fairfax, Fairfax to San Anselmo, San Anselmo to San Rafael. I also did not have time to bike home & change clothes before showing up for noon dinner with my mother, so I rode there and back (an extra 2 miles). Wow! I'm pretty proud of myself. It was really fun.
Epsom salts baths are a miracle. Outside Mag informs that what they do is pull out the lactic acid that's been produced in heavily worked muscles.
