Nov. 14th, 2007 10:28 amGood things:
1. An excellent local 24-hr. emergency vet clinic in my home town.
2. The end of the vet order report saying, "Good luck with Java! He's a beautiful boy and an excellent patient."
3. Oak trees and acorns, the latter of which I've been gathering to take to Wildcare, the CA state wildlife rehab hospital in my neighborhood.
4. Amtrak being 30 minutes early, instead of several hours late, while picking up a friend last night.
5. Being a good Samaritan and taking a woman on G's train who'd been stranded by her friends to a BART station, giving her a ticket, and pointing her to the BART station nearest her friends' home, to which she could then taxi.
6. Gorgeous warm weather (even though we need more rain).
7. A big regional disaster drill today. Good times!
