(no subject)

I work at the edge of a Chinatown, and many of the ladies in Chinatown use umbrellas against the hot sun in the middle of the day. It's 83 degrees here, I call it ghastly hot, and tried the umbrella trick on my way to/fro the library. It's lovely to walk in the shade. I'll be doing this more often.

Two giant glasses of iced tea are probably a bad idea caffeine-wise, but oh yum.

I did a bunch of gardening over the weekend and my back huuuurrrts from hunching over the ground. OTOH, my hot tub is working again. I pretty much shut it down 2 years ago; think I'll have to get back into the hot tub swing of things. Eureka, what a nice rediscovery. Nice stars out there!
