Two days ago, a co-worker gave me the URL to a website that sells off things that were confiscated by the police. I am so obsessed with it now! I've been buying jewelry, which is My Thing - 3 pieces so far. I also got 2 small boomboxes, one for my garage and one for my mother, and a clutch of 5 umbrellas. I've never gone wild over eBay, except one week, over backpacking tents but I didn't buy one. eBay is too darn big. This is managable. I know I'm going nuts but I can't stop myself. It's like when we got a CostCo card for the first time, after we bought the house, or when Trader Joe's and Ikea came to town. This is the equivalent of not needing a gallon of Dijon mustard. But! But! There's a bracelet that is so sparkly and pretty and such a good deal, I want to win it tonight, but I don't have a computer at home. Am I so hooked, I'll drive to Kinko's for the closing? Maybe. I only have crap binoculars and I really really really want to win the good binocs. I swear, I'll quit after Friday.
From LJ user intheweeds comes this link. Photos from a digital camera were recovered showing the tsunami coming toward the camera.
