Roommates, sanding, moving

I was so tired from all the walking and not sleeping 8 hrs. a night in DC, I napped all day Sat. & went to bed early. On Sun., my best friend was stood up by 3 people in a row, for things she stayed in town to do instead of going to Lake Tahoe, so I ended up going to her house, hanging out for moral support, and whacking at her bamboo (attention potential homeowners: do not plant bamboo or ivy, both are very, very bad). Then all day yesterday, I moved myself out of my room & closets & dining room & hall and into my garage and corner of the living room. The oak floors in both BRs, the hall and DR are being done/touched up, as the case may be. I'm exhausted. I hired 2 guys to come move the heavy stuff (1/2 hr.) but otherwise, worked non-stop for about 18 hours packing & moving stuff. Good grief, I've got to get rid of some of my stuff.

Oh, and I interviewed a new roommate, a friend for years, who's moving in July 10.

Attention Buffistas: if you would like a house in Marin in which to crash to use as a base to explore the Bay Area (nice neighborhood, 10 minute walk to downtown, hot tub, Bay view, + refinished oak floors! ), I am open for houseguests until July 9th. We may have worked out that I can have weekend houseguests in "her" room, though, but a completely available extra bedroom? Until July 9.
