Apr. 23rd, 2004 11:20 amI'm walking the 10.6 mile portion of the Big Sur International Marathon http://bsim.org/ on Sunday. We 10.6'ers come onto Route 1 after Bixby Bridge (the tall famous bridge on which there will be a pianist), too bad. It'll be cool to see the sights from a walking pace. The race is on the ocean side of Route 1 and ends at Rio Road in Carmel.
It'll be fun to be in Monterey again. S had to cancel. It would be fun to have someone to hang out at the Aquarium with and grab lunch in the Aquarium cafe, but I enjoy being there no matter what. Also, my hotel sounds great.
I never did manage to finish a hike and get to the shoe store while my feet were hot. My old shoes should be fine.
I got up at 6:30 this AM and did 2 hours of yard work before work, on top of the 1.5 hours on Oakland clean up day yesterday. Ow.
