(no subject)

I keep forgetting to bring the Tivo code to work so I can sign up for the service on their website, and I'm never home when their 800 # is staffed, so my new Tivo is just sitting there. I have 5 remotes now. What was I thinking?

I did a little research on sea kayaking today and reconnected with a guy with whom there was kind of a flirtation back-when. He's married now and bought a friend's kayak company - I saw his pic on the website and wrote. Got an email back from him a few hours later. I'm still amazed and amused when things that were normal, daily occurences in the small town where I grew up happen in wild and crazy big-city California. I guess if you stay in any one place long enough, eventually you'll get to know most everyone in the area.

I should have something more lofty, but all I can think about is a to-do list:

Finish 2 more work projects and look at the one left undone 'till Mon.
Drat! Forgot to mail that over there. Put in out-tray for Monday.
Call suelac, see if I can bring her anything
Call CM about Vegi-Food dinner and recital tomorrow
Go to Tivo site and start service
Threadsuck and print Bitches, for fun reading this weekend
Poke some more people about next week's theater gig
Get some sleep this weekend
Hike this weekend
Garden this weekend. AH! See if helper available.
