I bought stuff this weekend. Work clothes, some books, a Tivo for the living room, a Tivo for the bedroom, (they can talk to each other if I have Home Media option) a DVD + 5 CD player, and a giant bag full of cables that cost a fortune.

Is Monster cable generally worth it? A friend redid the wiring on his tv etc. hook up with, he said "digitical broadband" wiring and his tv looks like it's HDTV now, even though it isn't. H the ex used to say stuff like, eh, the type of cable won't make a difference to the eye or ear. The store guy said Monster cable would make a big difference and I just wondered what other people's experience is.

I didnt buy a tv, though, and that is something I have needed for 10 years, because I've been giving the cable co. $4/mo to have a remote on the tv in the bedroom. I'm tempted by the LCD HDTVs. Also I didn't put a computer, which is I also need probably more than a tivo or DVD.

Jonquil's post reminded me that I have property taxes to pay. Oops.
