(no subject)

The flaky electrician showed up today, 2 days and 3 hours late. Of course, today my roommate feels ill and wishes she could just sleep, but it's taken so long to get him there, she's being accomodating. He refused via phone to me to put in the 3rd wire for the switches, but the heck with it. Let him put up the light/fans, swap the 3-ways to the deck, and I'll get someone else to pull the wire. Grrr.

River rafting is percolating along. I called the campground at Coloma and it's 90 degrees up there. 90 DEGREES! I'm relieved. It's cool here so I was worried about our group being cold & wet, but 90 degrees and wet? no problem.

Friday Five

1. What housekeeping chore(s) do you hate doing the most?
Mopping floors. Since I share cleaning with a roommate and hire the occasional cleaning lady, I've avoided doing it for over 3 years.

2. Are there any that you like or don't mind doing?
I like doing laundry, especially hanging it on the clothesline; everything smells so good when dry. And it's ecological.

3. Do you have a routine throughout the week or just clean as it's needed?
I used to sweep every Thurs. night because that's when the garbage goes out but lately, I clean when something bugs me, or people are coming over

4. Do you have any odd cleaning/housekeeping quirks or rules?
You bet. I'm practically Monica Gellar about alot of stuff.

5. What was the last thing you cleaned?
Litter box, twice a day: before work/after work. My cats are indoor/outdoor, but one of them? I swear she waits for me to get home with her little legs crossed tightly, hopping around until she can run inside to the litter box. Grrr.
