Laurie Anderson's new show, Delusion, was wonderful. She's getting older, too, of course, and it was very much a meditation on mortality and impermanence, the mystery of life and death. She had two reed players on with her and wow it was great hearing bass sax all the way up to oboe. I should go to the symphony, it's been ages! We had amazing seats. Good times.

So I had my cheap and easy decaf latte version around 3 PM, in my pint glass, the best of all possible drinking receptacles for the workplace. Works for hot or cold (re-use a Peet's or Starbucks cardboard holder for insulation). 1/2 glass of decaf coffee, bunch of ice, add milk. I should be asleep, and Ambien clearly is in my future. I can't handle that much caffeine!

I have worked out how to slounge in bed and use the new laptop, and between work and fooling around on the Internet, my eyes hurt. Must remember to to exercise the eyes with different distances of focal points.

I'm watching teevee on the computer and am now caught up on Survivor. It and AR are my two true and only reality shows. It's awesome this go-around. I am so hoping Russell gets voted out next. He's loathesome.I'm loving the "Ponderosa" webisodes. Coach, Courtney, and JT have formed a band, are writing songs, coordinating outfits, and just posted a music video. I love it!

Work is still awful, but they are interviewing for someone to help me, thank dog. The retirement booklets I ordered are here and I'm working my way through them. Last week, I brought home a lot of personal stuff I had at work, accumulated over my 29.9 years there. It feels really good, this start of separating. I'm the queen of do-good stuff around there, and have found someone who enthusiastically is taking over blood drives, yay. Now to find someone to take over the American Cancer Society fundraiser.
