Nov. 1st, 2007 12:52 pmLibkitty inspired me to re-read an article I'd posted on our employee bulletin board from AP called "Researchers Seek Routes to Happier Life," and forgotten until I just took it down to make room for flu info.
http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/n/a/2006/11/26/national/a095420S03.DTL
The ideas are: listing 3 good things a day; savoring pleasing things, writing down what one wants to be remembered for (to help bring daily activities in line with what's really important to one); regularly practicing random acts of kindness; and looking to discover personal strengths, then applying one or more of the strengths in a new way.
The day has just started, so I'll add more later, but here's a start:
1. Didn't need to take as much time off this AM as I thought, and (until this!) got a lot of work done at work.
2. Sent out blood drive thank yous and started on flu info / flu shot campaign.
