(no subject)

The survey is done and I've got stakes out to mark my territory. It's a 5-sided piece of property, tiny little thing, really. Now that that's done, it kicks off another long to-do list involving city planning, perhaps real estate attorneys, the fence guy, both neighbors, and finally, my ultimate goal, getting some good landscaping/gardening done. I took yesterday off and hired 2 guys and we kicked butt in the yard, just doing clean up, but that will let me and former-roommate-cum-Master-Gardner get out there and plant stuff.

I wasn't able to visit with my terminally-ill friend from the San Juan Islands yesterday - she was too worn out for any more visitors, she said. She flew back today, so I guess that's it. I'm so bummed. That was the main reason I took yesterday off; the gardening was a bonus.

It's so cold outside! Brrr!!

I have to get a computer at home. No, really, I mean it this time.
