(no subject)

Took a look at my newest trail map last night. (Whoa, my "new" map is the 5th edition and I see on their website that they are up to a 9th edition. The one I had on the trail must be, like, a 1st or 2nd edition.) Anyway, one of the bridges isn't on my version of the trail map, which makes it a little hard to tell where I was when I turned around. I could have been on Cataract already, since it has an odd dog leg join to the trail coming from the other direction. It's 4.3 miles one way from Bon Tempe to the cut-off, so an ~8 mile hike is about right.

I want to go backpacking this summer. We'll see if I actually do it.
