One of my favorite co-workers is an eccentric guy who always has nifty toys and gadgets on the file cabinet facing the hall near his cube. Today, he has a mini Tesla coil. It's so cute, and they are so much fun to look at and touch. He got it through American Science & Surplus, http://www.sciplus.com/ I looked at just a few pages - mini demo body bags, $.75; a pocket microscope 30X for $6; hands-free measuring spoons (in case you are shaky) $1.25. Fun!
