River Rafting coming right up

What I've been doing lately. I'm so happy. Have 9 now, expect to have 12 (2 full boats) by Tues. Clipped from my email out:

WHEE!!!! Good news! Chris V. AND Larry S. can guide for us on the South Fork of the American River on Saturday Sept. 11. Besides his day job, Chris teaches river guiding for Friends of the River. He's one of the best river guides there is. Being in his boat is to trust & relax and start to notice what it is that river guides see in the riffles.

Larry is a long time Friends of the River guide, highly skilled, working on his Master's Thesis on the oral histories he recorded of old timers in the gold country. Being in his boat is knowing that you are in excellent guiding hands and will hear historical story-telling the whole trip.

YAY! Not bad for pulling this together in just a few days, huh?!
