Jul. 9th, 2004 10:12 amI'm so tired. I wish I could stay home for a week and lie around and watch videotapes. Viewed this week: Rory's grandfather engineering Jason out of the business in a two-timing deal! Holy cow, Connor returned! I still haven't seen the end of that Angel episode, or, you know, the end of Angel.
Yesterday, the floor guys appeared on my doorstep as I was getting dressed - the ones I expected last Thursday. I sent them away until the afternoon so I could keep the cats locked up while I went to the eye doc, which appointment was the day before. OOPS! Took Ben the cat to the vet specialty clinic in Sonoma County; didn't get to work until 2:30; had dinner with two Berk Rep people and dished the dirt; and this didn't leave much time for TV viewing last night, though I did watch a very creepy CSI.
CSI is so my favorite show. I like the moments of no dialogue when you see them work the most. I like the tone - the creepy episode should have creeped out anyone, but they play it straight and don't manipulate you. All the actors are very good and very pretty. I'll have to check out the new Gary Sinise CSI; I wonder when it starts? My boycott of CSI: Miami continues.
I did the touch-up painting in the 2nd BR and put the last vent back in the floor this AM. Next: put away all the stuff exploded across the counters in the new pull-out kitchen shelves and make kitchen room for the new roommate. Book group tonight. Get Kate's plants on Saturday and plant them. Next week: camping. Soon is the Wild Rumpus, which I'm considering going to, having never been in Conn. I'd like to see what it's like. There's a big party in So. Cal. that weekend, too. Decisions, decisions.
