K & I made reservations this morning for the annual Sept. group camping trip. Only tent sites were left, which is what we want anyway. I'd better reserve sites for Perseid-August camping soon. I want to go back to the Emigrant Wilderness, though kayaking on Blue Lake sure was fun last year. Bufflehead babies!

Regret isn't quite it, but I really miss being able to talk things out with H. I'm in a stuck place, not knowing whether I should go ahead with a property line survey or not, and I wish I had someone in my life who I could talk it over with. I'm holding up the fence guy until I give the go-ahead, and that's another thing I need to talk through.

I suspect that I'm too cranky to live with anyone, but damn, the things I miss about a long term relationship are not what I expected.
