Yesterday felt like Saturday

Hiked around Phoenix Lake again yesterday. It's so gorgeous. I need to keep hiking.

I was going to paint some trim, but I lay in bed and read print out of Natter instead. Go team lazy. I did get the 11 foot picture window Levelor up and my roommie & I cleaned it. It was gross. It hasn't been this clean since, well, years.

A local hospital was giving flu shots around lunchtime today and I got one. My arm is sore already. My latest recipe for avoiding the flu is a flu shot every 3-4 years, plus taking huge amounts of Vit. C daily and Zinc Propolis if/when I feel slightly on the edge of illness. So far, so good ::knock wood::

My ex is in Negril, Jamaica right now. He called a couple of days before he left (we've stayed friends & I social with him and his GF) to ask about some things he'd forgotten about the area, being there, etc., then we reminisced a little. ::Sigh:: Bet they're having a good time. Umm, callaloo patties, snorkeling, soursop shakes, the minibus, scrambled ackee for breakfast, Ting, Red Stripe, going up Red Ground way to the ex-pats house to change money. Also, P-Roy, cousin of our friend, a local guy who'd dive off Rick's cliffs at sunset among many other things, died last year. RIP P-Roy.
