Alex & corknut

I wrote to the Alex Foundation about the corknut/Oryx and Crake connection, and rec'd this back this AM! I'm so tickled that someone responded.

I learned about Alex's role in Atwood's book when she sent me
a copy....she then visited our lab, where Alex refused steadfastly to say
"corknut" for her.....
Not quite sure what to make of all this.....
But we definitely need funds to continue our research, so
maybe folks will find us this way....
