The refi's in the mail. Yippee! That was the most painless refi, ever. Signing the forms wasn't even freaky. I remember when I bought my first house, how much the Truth in Lending form freaked me out. Eh, I was only 28 or 29.
The carpenter was by this AM. What a great guy. I appreciate so much that the various other contractors who worked with my ex (formerly a contractor, now a software tester) are honorable men, all around nice guys and really good at their jobs. Now to be able to afford him/them.
I have to decide if I want interior cat doors to the bedrooms or not. I keep equivocating. I think I don't want an exterior cat door. Too many tricksy raccoons. They had a party in the water dish on the front porch last night, to my surprise. I thought it was off limits to them. Don't know why I thought that, actually. They have no compunction about coming into the bathroom to look around if I leave the French door open. Nor the skunks, for that matter. I haven't seen any oppossums lately. They must be around, though.
