javacatTwo of my siblings make me want to spork them in the eye; the 3rd is making me roll my eyes but then say awww, which isn't so bad. I'd like to shake my mother, and I'm sorry my father is dead. I don't think any of us knew until he was gone that he was the key to us pulling together.
Java's cat bite wasn't healed after all; it burst last night, so he got lots of attention with the hot compresses. I wondered if an extra dose of of pet-bonding would lead to any behavioural changes on his part, and indeed it did. At 4 AM, I became the lucky recipient of a dead mouse. ::being grateful, again, that he takes them to "his" rug in the empty room that has a door to the deck:: Shoo is feeling so much better, she's back to sleeping against me. Ah, my little cat family. They're as strong-willed and individual as the human family only a lot more fun for me.
