I'm going to have to recalibrate my internal Richter-scale-detector now that I sit in a different part of the building. It sways much more here at the center edge than at the corner. I know I've said this at least once before, so clearly, it's going to take more earthquakes to get it down. I used to be quite accurate in guessing the magnitude at the former desk. My stab in the dark on this one was in the 4+ range.

A minor earthquake occurred at 7:12:28 PM (PST) on Wednesday, December 20, 2006.
The magnitude 3.6 event occurred 4 km (2 miles) ESE of Berkeley, CA.
The hypocentral depth is 9 km ( 6 miles).
